Spider-Man: No Way Home

I saw the new Spider-Man movie. I really liked it. I don’t usually like MCU movies, but this time I admit I had my dose of fun with it and never found it bland nor boring. It delivers what it promises: entertainment, fun, references and hype. The classical hero story archetype is well followed and respected, and the innovations in the writing, characterization and style the movie makes aren’t too risky (of course, Disney as a company does not want to take any risks that may hinder the optimum amount of income), but do work well.

Most importantly, it works as a standalone entry too! This is very important to me, because I always insist that a good movie should make sense and be appealing for the watchers by itself alone, even if it’s a part of a whole.

Overall, the most solid work from the MCU I have seen. A good movie, a worthwhile watch, and a well-deserved 8-9 to me!
